The SatKing SK3200 Digital satellite meter is designed for VAST and Foxtel satellite TV. It is also suitable for other bands, e.g. K, C. This advanced meter is high definition MPEG 4 compatible so can be used for VAST and Foxtel. Many meters being sold in Australia today are MPEG2 (standard definition) only and will become obsolete when all the channels are converted to HD. However, the SK-3200 is future proof and will continue to work after these changes have been made.
The SK3200 features an easy to navigate menu. Simply plug the unit in to the dish and use the signal level bars to align your dish. Once the level bars turn green and the meter beeps, the dish is aligned correctly, and you are on the correct satellite. Then plug the antenna cable into your VAST receiver or Foxtel STB and it will scan the channels in for you.
The unit has a built-in high-power rechargeable lithium-ion battery, it is portable and does not need to be connected to the VAST receiver to be used.
